You & I are earth

Here’s a very special little project we made to celebrate the wedding of some dear friends. No, not helmets! Pendant light shades to sit over a family dining table. The names of the family members are scribed on one piece, while the other has the ‘You & I are earth’, words we ‘borrowed’ from a 17th Century Plate which we once unearthed in the collection of the Zuiderzee Museum. A rather lovely and humbling verse about our materiality and that of the thinks we make.
